How long have you been open?
We incorporated in 2010 and opened our doors for the first time in March of 2012.

How long have you been brewing?
We homebrewed for about six years before we opened.

When did you decide to take your brewing pro?
It was probably the day we came to the realization that we already owned a microbrewery, it was just in our garage. We'd been picking up bigger and bigger pieces of equipment, and neighbors were hanging out drinking beer every weekend. We took a look around and realized we only needed a cash register, some tables and a license. That's the day we started planning to eventually go pro.

How'd you come up with the name?
As we mention at the top of this page, our dog, Storm, had a lot to do with it. It started off as a kind of joke, but the more we thought about it, the more we liked it.

How big is your system?
We have a one barrel brewhouse and a ten barrel total production capacity, which qualifies us as the smallest microbrewery in Colorado Springs. If you want to experience true hand crafted beer, this is about as hand crafted as it gets!

Do you serve food?
We serve pretzel sticks free of charge, and any items from the Dominos' menu are available for order in our tasting room. Customers are also welcome to bring food in, and we have food trucks visit several days a week.

Do you have outdoor seating?
Yes, our outdoor patio with views of Pike's Peak seats twelve. We also have a bike rack.

Do you allow pets?
Pets are allowed on our patio.

Do you allow smoking?
Smoking is allowed on our patio, but please be courteous to others who may wish to sit on the patio, and ask them if they mind if you smoke. There is currently a cigar store in the center as well.

Do you have free WiFi?
Yes, we do. The password is on the table cards or just ask your server.

What's new on tap?
We constantly rotate seasonal, experimental and small batch beers, as well as some regular and semi-regular favorites. See our On Tap page for the current list.

Are your beers available anywhere other than your taproom?
Yes! You can see our Partners page for the current list of places where you might find our beers.

Do you sell kegs?
Yes! A few of our standard beer lines are available for sale in 1/2 barrel (15.5 gallon) and 1/6 barrel (5.2 gallon) sizes. We also sell growlers to go. You can see them on our On Tap page. Ask your server or call about availability and pricing.

Will we see you at any beer fests or special events or fundraisers?
We attend a limited number of festivals and special events. Check our Events page to see what's coming up!

Do you ever have live music?
Rarely. Check our Events page to see what's coming up!

I collect brewery items, how can I get some of yours?
Any of our items for sale can be ordered online, by phone or email with a credit card. See our Store page for pricing. If you're looking for coasters or other low-cost items, send us a self-addressed stamped envelope with enough postage to cover the return mailing. Our mailing address can be found on our Contact Us page. We currently do not bottle, so do not have crown caps, bottle labels, etc. available. PLEASE NOTE: we will NOT respond to requests that do not include a self-addressed, postage paid return envelope.
